Do you enjoy solutions-based selling direct to end users ? Looking for a "make your mark" position within the power distribution market segment? The healthcare business developer role is responsible for the sale of low voltage power equipment to the healthcare sales channel. Their focus is to work within the healthcare segment focusing on GPOs, regional end users, and the VA as target customers.
Primary goal is the increase of sales within the healthcare channel by focusing on specific sales targets within vertical sales segments that line up with our value proposition
•Creation, management, and advancement of relationships with key GPOs including contracts & distributor relationships that support them.
•Assembly & communication of a pipeline of opportunities & how those opportunities tie together with the national sales strategy for identified strategic end users
•VA regional & national strategy
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
This position is considered highly technical and requires someone comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to garner credibility & trust at a customer in a short amount of time while dealing with many different personalities from within & outside of Siemens.
•Electrical engineering degree preferred
•Minimum of 10 years in the industry focusing specifically on low & medium voltage power distribution
•Direct work with customers including contractors, consultants, engineers, & corporate level contacts (purchasing, etc...)
•Travel requirements are 50%+
Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
