Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to work on our distributed
parallel computing framework. Our software, HEEDS, automates the
engineering design process with intelligent search and process
automation. It leverages disparate compute resources (workstations,
HPCs, Cloud, etc.) with advanced search techniques to provide
innovative solutions to challenging design problems. The job will
involve working on all aspects of software development related to
process automation.


Job Responsibilities
•Design, implementation and maintenance of automation, communication
and distributed parallel computing features
•Follow the established development processes
•Write and review software requirements documents
•Create QA tests for the implemented functionality
•Detailed documentation of the implementations
•Research and fix assigned bugs


Required Qualifications
•MS/PhD degree in Computer Science and/or an Engineering field
•A minimum of 6 years of experience in OOP using C++
•Experience with client/server architecture
•Experience with parallel computing
•Good teamwork and cooperation skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with Qt Framework
•Commercial software development
