Job Description:

This position is a laboratory position with additional contribution to the miscellaneous other projects and activities required as part of the OEM team. The person must be able to pass a DEA background check in order to work with many of these products and materials. Interactions with manufacturing, R and D and planning groups are a daily part of the job as well as attending meetings and reporting back to the OEM team as needed. Some audit support (internal and external) is a part of this position. Laboratory activities include
  • special testing as part of antibody pool changes
  • calibrator master lot performance testing for alignment with the customer methods
  • verifying and exploring OEM customer issues in order to determine if the problem lies with the Siemens material and communicating results for dissemination
  • working in the Issue resolution and CAPA systems to document issues and identify root cause
  • controlled document updates in the Documentum
  • contribution to projects that include multi-department teams.
  • maintenance of laboratory notebooks following GMP requirements.
  • managing OEM analyzer maintenance including coordinating with service engineers.
