Specific Requirements

For our Sales Department based in Orlando, FL, we are looking for a highly motivated After Market Proposals Lead to support selling Siemens Gamesa after market products and services, in the US and Canada . Join an agile and highly engaged Sales team that favors creativity, promotes drive and enthusiasm, and fosters customer relationship building.

As an After Market Proposals Lead, you will be responsible for preparing optimized quotes for customers for Mods & Ups, Technical Services, Advanced Maintenance scopes, as well as taking any quotes through the internal approval processes (SBA).

You will be part of the highly motivated and strong self-performing team, and report directly to the Manager of After Market Sales.

This position is based in Orlando, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Product familiarity –Understand the internal costs and  the external value proposition of our products, including daily alignment with product developers and the Americas Operations organization to ensure that the latest processes are accounted for in the cost assessments
  • Relationship management – Gather, maintain, and respond to feedback and dialogue with customers regarding current and future product portfolios and customer needs
  • Proposal management – Working with a broad internal stakeholder network, compile cost and value information and use Siemens tools and internal approval processes to present and deliver value-based quotes to customers, responding to customer requests for clarification and status.

1.    Meet After Market sales Order Entry  target

2.    Promote and customize our portfolio within After Market to fit our customers need

3.    Coordinate offers and quotations; follow-up on purchase orders and contracts.

4.    Support negotiation of contracts for Mods &Ups, Technical Services, Advanced Maintenance and Operating Plant Service Agreements

5.    Take offers and contracts through internal technical and commercial approval process

6.    Support development of new business opportunities by

a.    Recording and tracking information from customers in order to provide feedback and recommendations for new solutions development by the appropriate internal group.

b.    Preparing strategic account summaries, negotiation plans for deals and sales forecast pipeline.

7.    Support market approach with colleagues from other Regions and Global Product Line

a.    Communicate customer needs and products feedback back to our global Product Line for new product development for M&U

b.    support global initiatives for market intelligence, new product development, market segmentation

8.    Process lead for After Market

a.    Coordinate updates of all after market workflows

b.    Update After Market Workspace

c.    Coordinate audit responses of processes

d.    Regional SBA coordinator

9.    Salesforce Champion for Region North America Service Sales Team

a.    Manage Service Sales Salesforce reports & dashboards

b.    Regional representative for Global Salesforce initiatives

 

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent wind  industry  experience

- Experience in sales, proposals, and/or project management is preferred

- Team-player mind set.

- Strong quality & organization orientation.

- Demonstrates initiative and result oriented.

- Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.

- Experience using MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and SAP

- Strong quality orientation with high attention to detail

- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
