Customer Account Analyst (CAA) Job Description

 

Position Overview

 

The CAA role is responsible for reviewing and processing all customer orders for the US region of the Americas including software, maintenance, hardware, services and training orders.  The CAA will work closely with a number of ‘clients’ including PLM Sales, PLM Services, PLM Accts Receivable as well as end user Purchasing groups, end user IT groups, etc.  The CAA will report to the CAA Manager who is based out of the St. Louis office.

The CAA is responsible for:

  • Processes customer orders or changes on orders from Sales staff or end users
  • Verifies accuracy of orders and order changes and resolves problems with Sales staff or end users
  • Maintains customer files with sales contracts and other information
  • Creates invoices, credits, etc for processed orders
  • Works with end users on basic license file issues if any
  • Assists Accounts Receivable group with invoice collection by ensuring orders are processed correctly the first time as well as any additional assistance after the invoice has been sent to the end users.
  • Assist in training new CAA’s, new Sales staff, new Resellers, etc.

 

 

Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

 

The following skills are required/preferred for the CAA role.

  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • Good customer service skills required
  • Good communication skills required
  • Experience in SAP preferred but not required
  • Ability to multi-task effectively is essential to the position
  • Basic to Intermediate MS Excel skills required
  • Ability to take on and learn new roles while maintaining current work load
  • The CAA role will generally not required travel but if the applicant is interested, there are times where the CAA can travel for the position (training of new CAA’s from integrations, etc)
