Job Description:

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced senior sales engineer to join our Automotive Safety organization. In this position, you will sell simulation software (MADYMO, PreScan and MF-Tyre), create proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations. You should prepare strategic plans to increase revenue and position us as the leading simulation software developer in our industry.


Duties and Responsibilities
• Learn the technical details concerning how our simulation software works and what problems it solves for our clients
• Create new sales and marketing strategies that target B2B customers; position our products as the best solutions for prospective clients
• Manage customer relations by soliciting and logging client feedback; evaluate data we receive through digital channels
• Generate high-quality sales leads; follow up after initial meeting
• Identify areas to improve customer satisfaction and repeat business; communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management
• Work with customers for their specific engineering needs and develop project proposals

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (prefer BSEE), prefer MSEE
• Previous sales experience required; 5+ years experience in the technology industry; prefer Automotive safety especially active safety/highly automated vehicles/sensors
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with project management solutions a plus
• Effective communication skills with the ability to listen, understand, educate, and influence customers/potential customers regarding products
