Siemens US Talent Acquisition

Overview:

This role is primarily responsible for driving the development and execution of joint marketing plans and activities with an assigned set of partners headquartered in North America or with international partners’ North America operations.  Execution of joint campaigns and tactics such as webinars and regional/local customer and sales-enablement types of events, and supporting partners leading such events, will be the key area of focus for the role. Executing through a combination of direct responsibility and through other teams and vendors, while also helping adapt the joint marketing approach for growth and scale based on learnings and partner feedback, will be critical to success in this role.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Drive or enable the joint and partner-led marketing plans and
activities in support of and in conjunction with up to 10 named
business partners. Generally these will consist of a mix of custom and
programmatic joint marketing activities/tactics and tools, all to
achieve or exceed marketing contribution metrics against the partner
business. The ability to monitor results and help modify plans as
needed to achieve desired results will be a critical success factor as
well.

Establish effective working relationships with marketing counterparts
within assigned partners based in and/or focused in the North America
market, as well as with the corresponding partner relationship and
sales managers within Siemens focused on the MindSphere business.

Define and drive joint messaging creation and resulting joint
customer-facing and sales-enabling deliverables for use in Siemens-led
and/or partner-led sales and marketing activities

Maintain accountability for achieving marketing objectives in relation
to joint lead generation metrics and overall marketing contribution to
joint pipelines, deliverables production dates & deadlines, and
execution deadlines for major and local events per the partner
marketing plans.


This position requires an individual who has substantial marketing
knowledge and a track record of successful marketing execution and
communication skills. Experience in creating successful joint marketing
programs with channel or influence partnerships is essential. IoT
and/or SaaS/PaaS marketing experience is highly preferred.

 

- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated “hands-on” track record of building marketing plans and
driving resulting marketing content, campaigns, and activities with
successful outcomes on time and within planned budget
- 5 or more years partner marketing experience with a track record of
success, ideally for or with global/regional System Integrators
- 5 or more years of proven marketing experience in the B2B technology
industry, ideally focused on software marketing
- Strong messaging development, project management, and collaboration
skills
- Ability to work anddeliver to a deadline with high quality work
- Ability to work with others and build consensus based decisions
- Ability to travel (20-40 percent)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly-growing “startup-like”
environment within a large company

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

- MBA is desirable or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business
Administration
- Strong knowledge of the IOT market
- Knowledge of the Siemens PLM Software product portfolio & MindSphere,
or equivalent from other vendors
