Job Description:

Position Overview
Product Marketing is an essential function to effectively communicating the value of Siemens’ solutions.  This position will work with a cross-functional team of product owners, architects, developers, and management, and will help to articulate and champion the value of Siemens cloud-based solutions in a number of forums.  Clearly articulating the value propositions of Siemens’ solutions helps sales and presales teams effectively position solutions within their accounts, and helps customers determine how they can get the most out of their investment.This role will be responsible for developing the go-to-market
strategies and tactics for new cloud-based solutions, including thought leadership, analyst relations, sales enablement, and digital marketing.
Candidates will report to the Director of Product Marketing for Teamcenter.
 
Responsibilities
  • Work with product teams to develop marketing material including value propositions and positioning, advertising, marketing communications, campaign strategy and tactics for Siemens’ cloud-based solutions
  • Develop thought leadership content via social media in the area of cloud-based software solutions
  • Work with analysts and press to express the strategy and value of Siemens’ cloud-based solutions work with sales and account teams to build customer facing sales materials
  • Develop internet based marketing campaigns promoting Siemens’ cloud-based solutions
  • This is an individual contributor role and requires the ability to work with minimum supervision
 
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering, Computer Science, or Marketing discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing or Cloud solutions
  • Candidates should have a solid understanding of cloud-based software applications and business models
  • Candidates should have an understanding of cloud development platforms and practices, such as Platform as a Service, microservices, etc.
  • Ability to facilitate, manage and lead cross functional teams to drive project completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Candidate should have the ability to travel up to 15-20%.
  • Position can be based in any U.S. City
