Job Description:

Position Overview
Product Marketing is an essential function to effectively communicating the value of Siemens’ solutions.  This position will work with a cross-functional team of product owners, architects, developers, partners, and management, and will help to articulate and champion the value of Siemens solutions for Capital Assets Lifecycle Management.  Clearly articulating the value propositions of Siemens’ solutions helps sales and presales teams effectively position solutions within their accounts, and helps customers determine how they can get the most out of their investment.
This role will be responsible for developing the go-to-market strategies and tactics for new Capital Assets Lifecycle Management solutions, including thought leadership, analyst relations, sales enablement, and digital marketing, initially focused on the Energy industry.
Candidates will report to the Director of Product Marketing for Teamcenter.
This position will:
  • work with product teams to develop marketing material including value propositions and positioning, advertising, marketing communications, campaign strategy and tactics for Siemens’ Capital Assets Lifecycle Management solutions
  • develop thought leadership content via social media in the area of Capital Assets Lifecycle Management software solutions
  • work with analysts and press to express the strategy and value of Siemens’ Capital Assets Lifecycle Management solutions
  • work with sales and account teams to build customer facing sales materials
  • develop internet based marketing campaigns promoting Siemens’ Capital Assets Lifecycle Management solutions
  • This is an individual contributor role and requires the ability to work with minimum supervision
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Candidates should have a solid understanding of capital project planning and execution, plant design and engineering, and engineering-construction coordination
  • Candidates should have an understanding of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes in the Energy & Utilities industry
  • Ability to facilitate, manage and lead cross functional teams to drive project completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Candidate should have the ability to travel up to 15-20%.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering, Computer Science, or Marketing discipline preferred.
  • Candidates should have an understanding of the Energy industry and the tools and methods for managing and developing capital projects
