Job Description:

The Director of Sales Will:

 

Direct sales operations, and delegate assignments to management and sales staff. Direct overall sales efforts to attain revenue,

expense, and marketing objectives for Building Technologies' CPS indirect channel for Building Automation product lines. Conceptualizes and direct brand strategy to meet or exceed key objectives

established for each brand. Direct strategy for retention of account bases and development of new accounts for large division or SOC. Define and

direct the development of strategic plans to penetrate accounts. Conceptualize, develop, modify, and execute corporate and/or organizational

policies that may have a company-wide effect.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.
  • Actively manage the portfolio of channel partners and ensure sufficient coverage to grow total Building Technologies sales in the United States.
  • Advisor for VAP strategy and execution in Canada and South America.
  • Area of responsibility has high strategic, long-term impact. Often is required to create/conceptualize new systems, programs, and/or training program with significant business impact.
  • Has full latitude to create and conceptualize strategic long-range policies/programs for area of responsibility and to forecast their impact;
  • Analyzes effectiveness of policies and establishes future direction for functional policies and programs that affect business unit as a whole;
  • Aligns policies/products and development efforts with company strategies.
