Job Description:

Position Overview
Siemens PLM, is looking for a team member with experience in solution implementation, software development skill sets. Proficiency in mapping business requirements to OOTB product features or implementation of configurations\customizations to solve the client needs is required. Responsibilities include but not limited to analysis of project requirements, focus on quality and ability to deliver software that meets or exceeds the acceptance criteria. This position has opportunities to grow into a solution leadership role, to leverage solution development excellent communication, organization and co-ordination skills required.
Implementation Consultants in Siemens GDN Services group, are primarily responsible for, but not necessarily limited to, the following duties:
  • Understand functional specifications, technical requirements or business justifications for a change.
  • Developing Software customizations, extensions using supported APIS to meet client’s requirements, using established best practices to deliver a high quality, reliable and performant software solutions.
  • Executing Data Modeling activities where required, following Siemens standard methodologies, and adhering to the expectations established in Project Design Documentation
  • Create documentation for technical procedures, installation processes, and whitepapers.
  • Create and execute software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas
  • Assist in the creation of system designs and functional specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and helping resolve issues across the entire scope of the Solution: 
  • Executing Testing activities where required, attaining familiarity with existing automated and manual test suite. Understand client’s technology, landscape, context and requirements to execute solution validation activities.
  • Executing Data Migration and Data Conversion activities where required, gaining expertise with Siemens tools that support these activities.
  • Support Client Cutover and Go Live Activities.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related technical or engineering field. 
  • Experience analyzing customer requirements and developing innovative solutions
  • Experience developing a software solution using
    • Java,  CSS, JavaScript , Angular JS HTML, JSP, SQL
  • Experience with PLM products, TeamCenter implementation skillset is a MUST.
  • Self- Motivated to learn, develop, deliver and excel.
  • Solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, communicate obstacles in a timely manner and manage changing priorities.
  • A results oriented individual , capable of learning and contributing to a dynamic environment
  • Strong organization, communication , analytical and problem solving skills
  • Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
  • Experience with PLM, CAD, CAM tools are a plus.
  • Ability work with distributed global teams and to co-ordinate work packages with high quality

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and experience
  • Experience in custom software development with Enterprise Java, HTML5, JSP Applications
  • Experience with CAD tools, NX
10%-15% travel may be expected.
