Job Description:

Director, North America Marketing Communications

The Director, Marketing Communications will support the charter of driving demand and awareness through downstream marketing efforts for Siemens Healthineers products, services, and solutions in the USA. This individual will lead a team of 12-14 individual contributors responsible for vertical (business area/business line) and horizontal (disease state) marketing communications’ strategies, initiatives, projects, and tactics. This position requires a deeply collaborative individual that is experienced in working across a matrixed organization to drive integrated marketing programs that will help make a business impact. This individual must also have a strong level of experience in marketing channels and vehicles with the ability to think creatively and recommend outside-of-the-box ideas. This individual should have people management experience and be a skilled leader and mentor, while also being a highly effective hands-on executor. This position reports to the Head of North America Marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

 

       Develop best practices and consistent programs that will help enable sales through integrated marketing campaigns and demand generation and lead nurturing campaigns

       Direct channel and vehicle mix optimization for internal and external target audiences

       Develop marketing strategies, planning, and success metrics while working closely with stakeholders and team

       Direct standard and compliant practices for market research/testing to validate messaging and content to ensure market relevancy

       Direct content and value proposition development that supports business’ strategies and overall company brand and value proposition

       Drive synergies through collaboration by leveraging efficiencies and driving consistency across a matrixed organization

       Management of department and project budgets, metrics, and standard operating procedures

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

       Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. 

       10+ years of relevant experience in B2B marketing. 

       Strong operational and business acumen. 

       Proven results in working with executive leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

       Proven ability to develop cross-business marketing campaigns and messages, and measure the impact of marketing efforts.

       Superior organizational and operational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, while meeting all deadlines.

       Proven ability to recruit, motivate, develop and lead a team direct and indirect; local and remote.

       Sophisticated relationship and team-building skills to ensure positive interfacing with all levels of colleagues and effectively work across all organizational stakeholders.

       Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and analytical skills.

       Collaborates effectively to deliver results.

       Ability to work well in highly matrixed organization. Experience in collaborating globally, managing global projects with international counterparts. 

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

·         Experience in healthcare marketing preferred.
