Job Description:

Service Technician

Position Overview

 Ability to work a flexible schedule is a must, along with the ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to assist in providing excellent service to our customers, along with the ability to work in stressful and dangerous situations. Individuals are subject to call-out service 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Typically personnel are assigned to work 1 of 2, 12 hour shifts when on projects. Work is typically planned numerous days in advance prior to mobilization to the project. Individuals are required to work in the shop, 40 hours a week, when not on a project.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in semi-complex equipment installation, trial runs, repairs and overhauls.
  • Assist in in training customers on semi-complex products and services.
  • Assist in semi-complex maintenance on equipment, testing of equipment, and maintaining documentation of QA/QC.
  • Assist in responding to semi-complex service or systems calls.
  • Assist in the assessment of semi-complex product/equipment performance based on field supported data.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Reliable Transportation

  • Basic Mechanical Knowledge
  • Previous Oilfield Experience
