Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Credit and Collection Supervisor will be responsible for the Southwest Zone of the Building Technologies Division of Siemens Industry Inc., overseeing a team of collection professionals in the construction industry. Ideal candidates will have a firm understanding and background in the construction industry, with a solid knowledge of bond and lien statues along with their impact on collections process within the construction industry. The C&C Supervisors is responsible for the overall collections performance of a business with annual revenue of 335 million covering the midwest region of the US, with staff & other internal partners located throughout the Zone, some travel is required throughout the Zone.

Job Duties:

  • Establishes collector assignments, monthly collection targets for the team, and confirms performance targets for Collection Representatives
  •  Responsible for ensuring lien, bond and bankruptcy rules followed to protect our cash
  • Responsible for identifying, seeking approval and processing cancellations, credits and write off and making sure procedures are followed 
  • Responsible for AR monthly status reviews regarding total value, delinquency and relationship to rolling revenue
  • Monitor AR Results, ATB lines, gaps with collectors
  • Set AR Reserve
  • Point of contact for credit Inquiries and resolution of customer credit line issues
  • Monitor unassigned collection line items and assign to appropriate collectors to resolve
  • Monitor unapplied cash, short pays, and Get Paid Queues
  • Approve Customer Refunds, Resolve/Suggest/Submit customer Credit Holds, Sign Lien Releases
  • Collect on accounts if short people due to PTO, etc.
  • Participate in Zone Meetings regarding AR items as needed

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related financial field, with 10+ years accounts receivable management experience within the construction industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience


·        3 years of SAP experience preferred
