Job Description:

Position Overview

The Customer Support - Nuclear Engineer works to support customers in both the nuclear sector and commercial sector.  The select candidate will provide nuclear engineering support to the (Nuclear) Service Project Manager, Proposal team, and other Customer Service functions.  This role will report to the New Kensington Sales Support Manager and will be a vital part of supporting the Siemens Industry Inc Large Drives customers.


◦Provide technical engineering support for the nuclear sector during specific to break/fix, outages and customer upgrade situations
◦Provide technical data to the proposal team for customer proposals.
◦Support the Nuclear Service Project Manager on all technical aspects of the projects and customer interactions
◦Interact with various technical resources with Siemens, customers and vendors.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience

•Bachelor Degree in Engineering
•Proficiency working in a Nuclear Engineering support role
•Proven customer support experience
•Customer focused with the ability to adapt/respond to different customer needs
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•10% travel based on customer requested meetings and support

Preferred Knowledge/Skills and Experience

•2+ years field service engineering
•2+ service years sales quote development
•2+ years electrical engineering
•2+ years nuclear experience
•Variable frequency drives experience
•Teamcenter experience
