Position Overview

Come join EM Finance!  Energy Management Medium Voltage and Systems (EM MS) is looking for a dynamic, result oriented finance professional to join our finance team as the plant controller and head of Operations Finance.  If you are seeking upward mobility in your career in a fast paced, growing business then look no further. 

 

This role will:

  • Report directly to the Country Business Unit Controller and is a critical part of the EM MS Finance team
  • Serve as the factory controller for the Heber Springs, Arkansas facility
  • Lead MS Operations Finance for EM MS USA
  • Act as the financial counterpart for the Heber Spring Plant Manager
  • P&L responsibility for the Heber Spring plant and the overhead product portfolio of EM MS
Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities of the plant controller will be:

  • Lead yearly budget process for the factory including creation of factory target agreement with operations headquarter team

  • Business decision support as the financial partner of the Plant Manager

  • Leading cost out / productivity program to ensure future competitiveness

  • Efficiency and utilization analysis as baseline for headcount requirements

  • Productivity monitoring with regards to actual vs. planned capacity

  • Factory price and product cost calculations

  • Financial support for new product introductions and portfolio changes

  • Cash Flow management with focus on inventory management and capital expenditures

  • Full Balance Sheet and P&L responsibility

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
  • Excel, Power Point and SAP proficiency required
  • Essbase and SF.COM experience a plus
  • Manufacturing controlling experience
  • Typically >8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively across various functional departments and levels of management
