Job Description:

Your Role!

As the Sr. Manager of Customer Supply Chain you will oversee the logistics, ordering and invoicing activities, for imaging equipment across all modalities (i.e. MR, CT, X-Ray) within the Siemens Healthcare sector. Your scope encompasses Radiographic, Fluoroscopy, Cardiology, Angiography, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Therapy, Nuclear Medicine and PET Systems. You will report directly to the Head of Siemens Healthineers US Division Customer Supply Chain.  Using your prior proven leadership skills you will build and manage a high performing and high functioning team, as well as foster and maintain optimal relationships with key players from the factory to customers and in between. 

This new position allows you to improve processes, establish efficiencies, and create strong customer focused teams. You will oversee large, complex, multi-project programs for Key Accounts, Research Facilities, large enterprise hospital networks and IDNs and support our Project Management and Field Installation organization to create an amazing “delivery” experience for our customers.

Your effective communication and relationship building skills will enable you to work well with all levels of groups particularly with the factory, customers, OEM vendors and internal teams.

In this role, you ensure project information, status updates, schedules and scope changes are communicated effectively to internal and external stakeholders, your team will make sure that all orders, change orders, logistics and invoices get executed timely and accurately

Your oversight of delivery schedules and backlog will ensure customer satisfaction through effective and timely supporting our production, delivery, installation and applications organizations  You will work with our factory and sales teams to provide the most optimal solution to deliver the best patient care.

At your forefront of success will be customer satisfaction; where you will pro-actively resolve conflicts and any customer issues. 

Managing your highly competent team of 20+ will include selection, employee development, goal setting and performance management to ensure high level of talent and engagement levels. 

 

Your work will make a difference by planning the customer journey and ways to measure the customer experience on the touchpoints alongside this journey.  Together with the rest of the Customer Supply Chain team, you will be redefining how customers experience the ordering, installation and training on the most advanced medical imaging equipment in the world.  By providing highly technical medical imaging equipment to healthcare providers, ensuring their satisfaction with the delivery of all modules of Siemens Medical Imaging Equipment.  You will be able to define optimal workflow of Imaging equipment delivery, oversight with factory and continuously enhance and improve existing policies, products, and methods.

Responsibilities:

·         This position oversees all operational, technical, and personnel activities associated with the preparation, review, approval, and order delivery of Siemens medical equipment to customer sites.

·         Develops and continually updates work processes to meet changing and growing facility needs for supply chain services. Makes recommendations, devises, implements, and enforces department policies and procedures in conjunction with other members of the leadership team.  Develop process standards and individual goals, monitor achievement, and prepare progress reports.

·         Defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.

·         Collaborate with Customer Finance leadership team to implement process improvement initiatives for optimizing resource efficiency and productivity as well as to ensure consistent processes and policies.

·         Manage order backlogs for all business unit.

·         Identify resource needs and develop justification.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems as they pertain to equipment deliveries.

·         Manage team’s workload

·         Responsible for overall success of the delivery of equipment orders to customers.

·         Frequent inter-organizational and external contacts. 

·         Supervise multiple employees.  Maintain performance management responsibilities for employees under purview and direct hiring, progressive discipline, and promotion decisions.

·         Ensure compliance with all Finance, Accounting, and Quality policies

·         Provide forecast to factories in alignment with local Project Management group as needed

·         Work with all factories to ensure accurate and timely deliveries

Education:

BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or advanced degree, and 5+ years of successful experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Required Knowledge/Skills:

Proven ability to manage a team successfully.

Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area managed and basic knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact. 

Demonstrates understanding and application of management approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action

Proficient in SAP is a requirement.
