The Objective of the Customer Service Coordinator role is to be a primary source for invoicing our customers that have placed purchase orders and contracts with Siemens PD/PA/AP that are related to work being done by our Field Service Technicians. This position has a great impact on our financial outcome as well as a great impact on serving our customer needs
The candidate will need to be able to keep up with high demand of orders as well as process that high demand in an accurate and timely manner. Candidate will need to be able to meet invoicing deadlines. Candidate will need to be able to explain costs that reside in work in process as well as explain gross margins on field service jobs and contracts. Candidate will need to be able to communicate with customers mainly on the phone, email, and some face to face. Candidate will also have email, phone and face to face interaction with internal customers such as the field service technicians, internal sales team, and other service personnel.
Candidate will analyze and invoice incoming field service PO's. Details of this include, but are not limited to:
· Working closely with field service technicians to obtain needed information.
· Analyzing service reports against costs accumulated into SAP.
· Answering Customer questions and complaints
- Working with customers to obtain change orders
- Analyzing costs data and gross margins against forecast
- Answer incoming group email requests that come from internal and external customers
- Review for completeness on all incoming PO's
- Working with credit analyst to obtain late payments
- Working with payment systems outside of SAP
- Some upselling
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Education (High School Graduate preferable with Associates degree)
- Industry/business acumen (3-5 years)
- Work experience (5 years)
- Microsoft office
