The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for managing, supporting, and help establish processes for Smart Remote Services (SRS) focused on development of SRS, application support with Siemens Healthineers Business Lines, their products, and monitoring along with driving requirements into the Remote Service application.  Identify with key support from the users of the tools and applications related to Siemens Business Lines to help drive innovations into the SRS applications, particularly focusing on innovations around the latest medical devices from Siemens Healthineers.  This resource will support on providing, developing and communicating ongoing development activities related to Siemens Remote Services by supporting or participating in cross-functional meetings on requirements.  They support the coordinating of communications of projects, SRS related functional requirements for innovation, and other areas for product, application & process improvements to supply either value based, cost plus or market pricing for all Remote Services for Siemens Healthineers.  The position is related more to project management, application support so please thoroughly read the Key responsibilities, along with knowledge required.

Key Responsibilities:

 • Responsible for supporting, development, and innovations with SRS Experts of the Business Lines & SRS Country managers Siemens Remote Services (SRS) (10%)
• Support the SRS Experts from development perspective towards business lines / areas, countries and specific stakeholders (25%)
• Define, implement and improve performance, reliability, and support for SRS (15%)
• Support implementation and improvement in SRS with New product development LD (Atellica Solutions) (15%)
• Maintain communication and project development of SRS of innovations (15%)
• Provide content of service-related SRS trainings
• Administrate PLM documentation related tools
• Work as a upstream for the SRS Service Owner(s) and the Service Owner Board for some Business Lines/Areas, Countries or specific Stakeholders

Education:

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Certification may be required in some areas.

Knowledge:

• Ability to work with or lead small project teams without direct managerial supervision


• Technical overview and knowledge of SRS component functions and relations
• Technical affinity and capability to accumulate needed and new knowledge
• Some IT Network technology knowledge
• Knowledge and experience in project management
• MS Windows OS and Office knowledge
