Job Description:


Position Overview:

This position reports to the Head of Finance for Customer Services and Productivity/Idea Management in the Diagnostics (DX) Business Area within Siemens Healthineers. The position is responsible for financial planning and analysis for Customer Services within DX with a particular focus on the Business Line Point of Care (POC) including monthly reporting and analysis, planning and forecasting as well as strategic projects.

The position will support the VP, Customer Services POC (Manager of Service) and will closely collaborate with the POC Head of Finance. In addition, the position will frequently interact with other functions within the Business Area DX as well as the Business Line POC and the Regions.

• Management reporting including Customer Services financial reviews with VP, Customer Services POC and POC Head of Finance

•  Controlling of POC Customer Services costs in HQ and Countries

• Planning and Budgeting (target setting, negotiation with regions and presentation to POC Head and POC Head of Finance)

• Collaboration with CS Global Process Owners and Regional Headquarters

• Proactively work with Head of POC Services and regional teams to manage regional spare parts inventory at appropriate levels.

• Work with Head of POC Services to analyze and address Non-Conformance Costs.
• Productivity controlling (incl. country process improvements driven by HQ and HQ improvements)
• Manage strategic Customer Services and Finance projects




Leads the analysis of financial results to determine accuracy and completeness of information. Designs various financial reports; leads review discussions with top management for financial plans and budgets. Ensures compliance with budget allocations. Leads discussions of financial analysis at the most complex levels including, investments, budgeting, and financial and expense performance comparisons. Leads conformance to local and international accounting requirements. May support commercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations, etc. for Customer Services portion.

BS/BA in Finance/Controlling, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates extensive knowledge in field of Finance and Controlling to the successful completion of complex assignments. Successfully serves as point of authority and/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues. Typically 10+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Key Working Relationships:
Acts as advisor to top management and business partners on advanced technical matters. Represents POC Customer Services Finance as the primary internal contact for Countries and other functions.
