Job Description:

Position Overview
Siemens PLM Software is seeking in a technical program or project manager to work as the Release Manager for Simcenter as well as assist in release management for NX. As the Release Manager, you will be tasked with seeing to the success of the product release from planning, execution, to delivery. The Release Manager will develop and monitor release schedules and coordinate the release activities among the various development and support teams. This position is in NX Program Management team.


• Contribute to the success of the Release throughout the Release Lifecycle from planning to production
• Develop, maintain, and track the release schedule and the relative milestones
• Coordinate release activities with the various technical teams
• Address issues with development and support teams
• Communicate to stakeholders status/issues/risks at various release milestones
• Prepare the release as a production deliverable


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 1-5 years of related experience
• High Proficiency in developing detailed plans for complex projects, with changing requirements,  resources, and deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, roles, and geographical time zone boundaries
• Capable of independent work as well as collaborative development


Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• PMP certification a plus.
