Job Description:

Position Overview:
 

The Rothschild, Wisconsin service center is has an opening for an Electrical/Instrument Engineer.  The Electrical/Instrument engineer is a mid-level position that reports to the Engineering Services Manager. 

 
 
Overall Responsibilities: 
  • The Electrical/Instrument Engineer will oversee projects that are in industrial wastewater and implement applications that are worldwide, working with a variety of EPCs and end users
  • This Position requires a large amount of interaction with these external customers
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Electrical/Instrument Engineers are expected to function as generalists in the discipline
  • Estimate costs of equipment, materials and labor for engineering projects
  • Understands and applies customer specifications for projects
  • Develops  a wide range of engineering and design documents
  • Participates in technical meetings and correspondence
  • Develops application programs for any of the various control system platforms used by the customers
  • Conducts factory acceptance testing of completed systems and equipment
  • Provides field support of project startup and commissioning activities and more
 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: 

  • Associate degree in related field
  • 3+ years of experience working with industrial customers
  • 20% travel may be required (including international)
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Experience with AutoCAD and instrument selection software preferred
 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
