Job Description:

 Position Overview
As part of the Services Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Delivery team, reporting to a MOM Services Manager, manage MOM services projects that drive customer’s value realization.  Executing the project(s) within the defined targeted outcomes, such as financial, schedule, scope and quality, while working with Sales and Presales to ensure customer satisfaction. 
As part of a Professional Services team, you will work productively with Consultants, Developers, Architects, other Project Managers, and other internal & external interfaces such as Industry and Product Development teams to ensure that our customers succeed in their objectives. Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software includes Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Managements Systems (QMS), and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Manage one or more unrelated MOM services projects that may be Customer or internal facing
  • Work with Sales, Services Management and Program Management to drive Customers to realize value from Siemens’ Digital Enterprise Solutions
  • Perform stakeholder management, together with Sales
  • Identify and create additional opportunities out of the ongoing project
  • Manage the MOM project throughout the Project life-cycle leveraging the Siemens Delivery Framework; including planning and management of the project scope, schedule, costs, staffing, progress monitoring, procurement, risk, quality, status reporting, and changes.
  • Work with Services Management to resolve issues with all necessary internal partners; work with Procurement Management to manage business partners and subcontractors;
  • Together with Services Management and any Program Manager, build, inspire and motivate an effective team; Motivate and drive excellence with the team, provide recognition and encourage team members personnel development
  • Contribute to continuous improvement based on lessons learned from the project
  • Uphold and enforce Siemens compliance guidelines at all times  
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • MOM project management experience providing Services implementing one or more of: MES, QMS, LIMS (>3 years)
  • Experience with multi-tiered, LAN and WAN integrated systems and solutions (>3years)
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), best practices, coding standards, testing methods, and deployment approached (>3 years)
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills – Advanced
  • Self-managed; strong communication skills (written and oral); leadership of small teams (>3 years)
  • Experience with project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project) - Advanced
  • Experience delivering projects to the approved budget and agreed margin (>3 years)
  • Experience with accurate project billing, revenue recognition, and project forecasting (>3 years)
  • Customer management and contract writing experience (>3 years)
  • Bachelors: degree in technical or engineering field required (or lower qualifications with relevant work experience)
  • PMI-PMP certification
  • Travel: 50-75% required
  • Location:  Any Major U.S. City

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Experience in discrete and process industry manufacturing environments
  • Experience with corporate solutions (PLM, ERP, WHMS, etc.) and controls level solutions (test equipment, OPC, PLCs, HMI, etc.)
  • Siemens MOM product experience, such as: Simatic IT Production Suite or UADM; Camstar, QSYS, SIT R&D Suite
  • Experience with a Professional Services Application (PSA), e.g. OpenAir
  • Experience with corporate financial and sales tools, e.g. SAP, Salesforce
  • SharePoint administration skills
