Job Description:

The Business Manager has responsibility for a specific portion of the evolving digital portfolio for the region.  The business manager has responsibility for identifying market needs, collaborating with headquarters on provision of digital solutions, developing product segment marketing programs, oversight of price book and product packaging, and collaboration with VP, business management and headquarters on negotiating and devising business plans.  This team will also collaboratively work with business development and commercial sales teams to ensure proper fit of product in market, and ensure appropriate go-live of commercial teams through necessary training and certification of new digital solutions.

 

The business manager will have matrixed responsibility for the digital solution executives assigned to their portfolio segment as well. 

Responsibilities

·       Coordination with VP, Digital NAM, VP Digital Operations NAM, Solution Architecture, other business managers, and HQ teams to build/execute on business plan for current and future years; business plans include growth and cost targets, overall G2M strategy for region

·       Owns solution packaging, pricing, and price book for region

·       Is the internal subject matter expert on solution as it relates to market trends, government/ legislation impact, and competitive environment

·       Devises marketing plan for solution set consistent with Healthineers broader digital strategy; triangulates between HQ and regional MSC teams to execute on marketing plan

·       Collaborates with digital marketing teams to execute on internal and external collateral preparation

·       Liaison to HQ teams, responsible for providing market/customer feedback and aligning product roadmap to meet delivery needs; holds HQ team accountable for necessary product investment

·       Works with Operations team to define all professional, clinical, consulting, and technical services offerings

·       Has matrixed responsibility for digital solution experts; owns overall training and enablement plan for digital solutions experts

·       Actively participates in product pilots/launches with business development team to establish goals, operations, and execution towards success criteria for new product/service introductions

·       Responsible for forecasting for assigned digital solutions

·       Allocate technical and clinical support resources for pilot customers

·       Assists in creation of product competency materials

 

 

Required Knowledge and Experience

·       BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas

·       Typically 5+ years of successful experience in a directly related field or headquarters experience in modality or equivalent

·       Prior P&L ownership and involvement in strategic planning

·       Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills

·       Strong business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking required

·       Capacity to manage cross functional initiatives

·       Effectively manages and resolves conflict

·       Relentless customer focus

·       Must be able to travel 25-50% or more as required

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

·       Experience in healthcare segments preferred
