Job Description:

Siemens US Talent Acquisition

The Regional Sales Manager - Will lead the Central region sales team, focusing on Totally Integrated Power (TIP) Product Solutions and Services.  The portfolio primarily covers Low, Medium and High Voltage Products, MCCs, Digital Grid, Transformers as well as other products included in TIP portfolio. This role is responsible for growing market share and profitability across the TIP portfolio.

 

Specific responsibilities to be quickly/effectively instituted:

  • Implement sales force effectiveness by driving profitable share gains through cross selling the Siemens product portfolio to Industrial customers.
  • Align resources to support Value Propositions for targeted market segments
  • Proactively work across other Siemens organizations to leverage complimentary resources, solutions and or channels to obtain profitable growth and market share.
  • Talent development of Sales Managers and Sales Professionals.
  • Provide leadership and drive sales process development through partnering with support teams to include Siemens Industry Business Units.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years personal sales experience together with a minimum of 5 years in a sales management position and can demonstrate a successful track record in a Sales Leadership role.

 

Previous experience within the Power Infrastructure market is required, understanding and experience in selling into the Industrial market would be preferred but not essential.  Demonstrated track record of effectively navigating highly matrixed organizations including culture and processes is critical to success of this position.

  • Profitable revenue growth in a construction/ Industrial market

  • Successful track record of developing talent and building effective teams.
  • Proven track record of success operating with multiple channels to market including: direct sales, distributors, solution providers.

Must be a great leader, strategic and possess an excellent understanding of our customers, markets, business operations and people. Must be willing to take measured risk, and demonstrate the ability to act with a sense of urgency without sacrificing excellence. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, which results in teamwork, shared knowledge and ideas.

Excellent written and verbal skills are a must.  Must be a good listener and seek input from others, yet be decisive and timely in decision-making.  The ideal candidates must thrive on change and continuous improvement in our complex, fast-paced environment.
