Job Description:

Position Overview

Siemens Building Technologies is growing and we’re searching for an experienced Building Automation Engineering Assistant to support our team of Design Engineers and Project Managers in Beaverton, OR. In this fast-paced role, you’ll be in assisting in the procurement process and tracking materials.  More detailed responsibilities for this exciting engineering support role include:

Responsibilities
•Project Administrative Support will involve working with Design Engineers & project managers to coordinate the procurement and delivery of system components for fire, building automation, and access control system hardware. 

•Materials and Procurement Administrative Support will involve assisting in the material ordering process, tracking, expediting materials and working with warehouse personnel to ensure proper materials are pulled in a timely manner.


Qualifications
•A High School Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement for this position, although we prefer an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field such as Drafting or Engineering.
•Experience assisting in a BAS, Fire and/or Security industry environment in an Administrative or Engineering Supportive role is required
•Experience working with SAP is preferred.
•Must be organized and have excellent written and verbal skills.

Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
