What is the Finance Leadership Development Program?

 

The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a 24-month rotational program where participants develop in a new job role, city, business, and team every 6 months, exposing the participant to 4 unique experiences within in the Corporate Finance, Corporate Accounting, and Financial Services career fields.

 

The program prepares you to become a financial leader in our organization. You will learn what it takes to analyze and manage all the financial aspects of a company ranked among the top 50 in sales in the world, while receiving mentorship from Siemens’ team of business leaders and networking with Siemens’ senior decision-makers.

 

Potential experiences and opportunities include:

               Performance Controlling and Business Planning

               Financial Analysis

               Corporate Accounting

               Sales Controlling

               Cost Accounting

               Commercial Project Management

               Operational Review and Internal Audit

What is the FLDP Internship?


The FLDP Internship is a 12-week summer internship program specifically designed to identify top candidates for the full-time rotational Finance Leadership Development Program, while providing the candidates with a meaningful and challenging hands-on experience in a real-world working environment.


Over the summer, you will work with and learn from Siemens’ team of innovators as they work one of the many different financial roles found at Siemens. Every role and internship that we offer provides a unique experience, value-added work, technical skills development, peer workshops, and exposure to executives.

 

By the end of the summer, you will understand our culture, financial opportunities, and how you can grow with the company personally and professionally. Offers are extended at the end of the FLDP Internship for the full-time Finance Leadership Development Program.

To apply for the Finance Internship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

 

               Majors: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, MIS or Management with a Finance/Accounting focus

 

               Education: Current sophomore or junior undergraduate students pursuing a BA from an accredited technical school, college, or university.

 

               Minimum GPA: 3.0 (3.5+ strongly preferred)

 

               Availability: Ability to work 40 hours per week from May to August 2019 and ability to re-locate for the internship.

 

               Relocation: Must be willing to relocate and travel as required by program.

 

               Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required

 

First Round interviews are conducted on campus, followed by Second Round interviews in Atlanta. After the Second Round interviews, offers are made for the internship program.
