Position Overview

Siemens Healthineers develop innovations that improve patient management, quality of life, and outcomes with greater efficiencies, giving providers confidence to meet the challenges and needs of a changing healthcare landscape. Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging, a $1 Billion Business Line within Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the Director of Clinical Collaborations and the global Molecular Imaging collaboration management team in research and development projects with academic and clinical partners.



  • Contribute to research projects in the collaboration management team,

  • Assist in experiment design, algorithm development, data collection and analysis,

  • Interact with expert radiologists, medical physicists, technologists, and engineers,

  • Provide interim project reports for internal project management and monitoring,

  • Prepare scientific papers and abstracts for conference proceedings.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in medical physics, biomedical engineering or related field,

  • At least 6 months experience in medical imaging,

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Candidate should be able to travel at least 10% of the time.
Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the Unites States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Doctoral (or Candidate) Degree in medical physics, biomedical engineering or related field with emphasis on molecular imaging,

  • Acquisition, reconstruction, post-processing, and image analysis of PET, SPECT, CT, and MR data,

  • Familiarity of artificial intelligence, machine and deep learning for decision support,

  • 2 years experience working with an interdisciplinary team of radiology experts,

  • Prior experience in writing scientific reports, abstracts, papers and submissions for peer reviewed publications and presentations
