Siemens Building Technologies is currently looking for a Zone Performance Assurance Engineer (ZPAE) to support our Building Performance Sustainability group located in either Syracuse, NY or Boston, MA. The ZPAE will be a member of the Siemens Building Performance and Sustainability (BPS) team for the Northeast Zone and be responsible for building and maintaining an ongoing relationship with our customers currently in, or going in to, guarantee phase.
This position will create value for the customers and Siemens through knowledge of customer operations, gleaning information from the annual Performance Assurance reports generated by the National Digital Service Center (DSC), and through their own review and analysis of data available through trending and from cloud based Advantage Navigator. Using this information the ZPAE will become the customers trusted advisor and should be able to identify opportunities to lower their energy and operational costs which may lead to service sales or Phase 2 Performance Contracting (PC) opportunities.
Delivering Annual & On-going Monitoring Reports - meetings could be Virtual or In-Person
ZPAE will be looking for sales opportunities for Performance Assurance Service Programs (PASP) and will have retention (or roll over) targets for legacy contracts.
This person will have a Siemens focus on leveraging our DSC portfolio offerings, traditional services, and Energy Savings opportunities in new projects and existing PA service
Lead in developing and presenting customer-specific sales strategy while in guarantee, with support from Zone Sales Team
The ZPAE will be the liaison between the Zone and the DSC on assigned projects. The person will work with Zone Energy Engineers during project development to understand the key parameters and understand what will be measured for inclusion in the M&V Plan. They will then determine pricing of the PASP for the contract based on working with the EE’s and the DSC and understanding the contractual M&V requirements.
At project closeout on critical projects and/or ECM’s the ZPAE will work with the project manager to commission certain aspects and ensure that any post construction M&V requirements are met; including control ECM functionality, trend setup, remote connection establishment, and Advantage Navigator connection and setup.
Ensure successful financial management of PASP agreements (bookings, renewals, planning) in coordination with DSC support.
