Job Description:

The Siemens Project Management Office (PMO) located in Orlando, Florida is seeking a PMO Professional as part of their Power Generation Services organization that works closely with the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI).

  • Screen nuclear background packages ensuring craft can arrive onsite with minimal time elapsing before receiving necessary site access
  • Ensure documentation is 100% correct and complete and then generate authorized letters that can be signed by the Steam Generator Storage Compound  (SGSC) approved signers and then send them to the Nuclear Access Departments of our Nuclear Customers
  • Work closely with PMO office on various projects with different stake holders
  • Train to become certified to sign Steam Generator Storage Compound (SGSC) authorized letters
  • Manage Inventory control and time & attendance for the PMO office
  • Point person for all communications between various Union Workers
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or combination of work experience with High School Diploma/GED/Associate’s Degree
  • Must have a strong understanding & experience with NEI (Nuclear Energy Institute) nuclear background & screening process NEI 03-01
  • Must have a strong appreciation for the importance of ensuring complete accuracy in PHQ’s (Personal History Questionnaires) and in all other document reviewed
  • Possess excellent analytical & organizational skills, along with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Must have ability to multi-task, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and effectively communicate technical & PHQ information
  • Must possess the ability and desire to plan, control, and contribute to solving complex problems
  • Must have the potential to become authorized thru NEI (Nuclear Energy Institute) to issue and officially sign SGSC authorized letters sent to the Nuclear Access Departments of our Nuclear Customers
  • You must be able to work overtime during peak periods as required
  • Must be able to pass Steam Generator Storage Compound (SGSC) Background check
