Job Description:

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager to manage the vertical market value-add and targeted programs for each of our focused Vertical Markets within Building Technologies (BT). This position will focus on managing the programs, processes and materials in conjunction with the Vertical Market Managers.
 
Responsibilities
Directs all activities and program elements to include:
  1. Program / project development focusing on setup and maintaining each program
  2. Develop and deliver programs to support customer segment (vertical market) strategies and multi-channel strategies
  3. Administers and ensures adherence of PM policies, guidelines, programs and standards.
  4. Identify and create necessary tools to improve the process for the field to leverage the programs
  5. Program management, and tracking ROI and determine program effectiveness
  6. Basic understanding and application of marketing concepts, methods and tools
  7. Prepares and contributes to contractual matters, with external parties (i.e. vendors, clients)
  8. Contribute to annual marketing planning and budgeting
 
 
Vertical markets are a key strategy for Building technologies.  We are challenged to grow rapidly and to build upon our leadership position in this market. Candidate must be highly motivated, detail oriented, and comfortable with operating in a high pace and process-driven environment with strong reporting matrixes in order to successfully launch the programs.

 
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Project Management Certification preferred, not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Strong program / project management skills with excellent communications skills
  • Strong customer focus; ability to develop customer specific value propositions
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft suite and Project Management tools (MS Project)
  • Experience in developing project plans and executing the plan within budget
  • Business experience promoting programs to an internal customer
  • Experience in managing cross functional teams that does not include direct management of team members
