Virtual Education Solutions (VES) organization is responsible for the development and knowledge transfer of education and training for Customers and Sales Education. All individuals in VES work cross functionally with a network of subject matter experts, including but not limited to: second level support, research & development, marketing, IT, vendors, core teams, and other groups in the development and delivery of education and training. Direction for VES is provided by establishing annual strategic imperatives. These imperatives will create the foundation of tactical initiatives for continued improvement in educational offering, customer relationships, method penetration, cash-flow, productivity, and building organizational excellence.
As part of the VES team, the Project Manager is responsible for the overall tactical execution and turn-around of VES-led translation efforts. The Project Manager has shared responsibility for a multi-million dollar translation budget, from vendor scoping and costing through financial accounting and operations related to translation activities. The Project Manager establishes relationships with CS Apps leadership to prioritize translation activities and works cross functionally with VES, internal/external vendors and other project team members globally to deliver on translation projects across modalities and languages while ensuring quality requirements are met. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall project planning and deliverables for all translation activities and timelines, The Project Manager creates and updates the VES plan for detailing strategic and tactical initiatives. The Project Manager provides regular communications and project updates to VES, CS Apps and country leadership. Taking strategic and tactical direction from Director, Education Solutions, the project manager works with the VES leadership team to analyze and recommend process improvements and potential new innovations to grow and evolve the translation business. The Project Manager may fulfill diverse assignments that support departmental and business needs as described below.
