Job Description:

Siemens US Talent Acquisition

Be a key resource in the successful application support of a custom laboratory information management system deployed at the Walpole site and accessed globally.   

 

This is a new position in the Test Data Management group responsible for the application used for the product quality control release process at a large medical device consumables manufacturing site. This role will include software quality release documentation and testing. This position will leverage a person’s experience with Microsoft Visual Studio tools and coding in C# and use of Microsoft TFS for the change control, documentation and automated regression testing of software applications. This is a new deployment of TFS and this individual will play a key role in the transition from current software management tool. The position will also leverage knowledge of requirements document development and validation of software. This position reports to the manager of the Test Data Management group and provides an opportunity to be a key player in the site’s operation.

 

Responsibilities
•Support software lifecycle management

• Develop, manage and document test strategy and test plans

• Define and maintain test automation framework

• Build test suites for regression coverage and stabilization

• Identify and mitigate risks identified through use of risk identification tools
• Provide guidance and recommendations for TFS documentation

• Participate in requirement and design specs and validation strategy for new installations or modifications

• Implement software changes in a regulated environment

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Microsoft C#

• Microsoft Team Foundation Server

• Microsoft Test Manager

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Working Knowledge of:

• Automated testing

• TFS implementation

• Relational databases and SQL

• Microsoft Visual Studio

• Understanding products and processes and breaking them down into testing components

 

Education:
Computer Science, Software Engineering or Science background with relevant experience
