Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced social media specialist to help create and edit healthcare content for our global social media channels. You’ll work on the corporate social team and can make an immediate impact on our social activity. 


Job responsibilities:

  • As an expert in social media, you will write and edit social media posts to ensure they are optimized for each platform
  • You have an eye for visual content and can make suggestions and give direction to agencies, creative teams and communications colleagues on images and videos
  • A true collaborator, you will work with business and regional colleagues on creating social content and campaigns that align with business goals and the global social media strategy
  • With an understanding of brand reputation management, you will act as community manager across our global social media channels and monitor our brand activity through use of the monitoring tools
  • Your comfort level in the digital space gives you an advantage in training others on the best practices and importance of social media for a major brand
  • You believe in the power of social media advocacy among colleagues and will be champion for proper social media use across Siemens Healthineers
  • You are not afraid of data and can turn social media analytics into insights and recommendations for future activity


Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in a digital communications role, with responsibility for social media
  • BA/BS in communications, marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working on social media platforms for a company
  • Knowledge of social media management and monitoring software
  • Multitask and manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment. Work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work on a team, sit in meetings, and communicate with global colleagues


Location: Tarrytown, NY or Malvern, PA
