The purpose of Campaign Lifecycle Management (CLM) team is to provide
strategic planning, management and quality assurance of global
campaigns in order to accelerate the coordination, launch and execution
of campaigns thereby maximizing their effectiveness and the efficiency
of their execution.
Team members should have knowledge of all types of marketing campaign
tactics. They should have a deep understanding of campaign development
using the optimal “marketing mix” of tactics for the targeted personas
and in techniques used to measure the effectiveness of those campaigns.
Team members should also have knowledge and experience inproject
management including scheduling timelines, resources and assets.
In addition to technical skills, the CLM team members must be highly
proficient in communication and coordination with other internal
organizations. The success of the CLM mission relies heavily on
building relationships with all other aspects of the marketing
ecosystem including product marketing, field marketing, and marketing
service centers (e.g. GDMC, Marcomm, etc.).
Candidates must have strong marketing experience and several years’
experience in enterprise software. Project management skills and
experience are required. The role requires the ability to work with
minimal supervision and the candidate will have latitude for decision
making, as well as ownership of campaign projects and tasks.
The CLM Campaign Manager is a member of a global team that must work as
a cohesive unit from disparate locations. As well, they will be working
directly with counterparts from each of the go-to-market organizations
within Siemens PLM GSM&S. This includes all product marketing
organizations, field marketing in all zones and countries, the Global
Digital Marketing Center, the Marketing Communications organization,
Technical Marketing, and others.
The campaign management role spans all phases of the campaign lifecycle
including both development and execution. The role will have varying
degrees of responsibility for detailed project management of marketing
content development depending on the correspondingbusiness segment.
This position requires individuals who have extensive marketing
knowledge and understanding of marketing processes with strong project
management and communication skills.
