Job Description:

This position is in the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy project management organization which is responsible for project implementation of wind turbine projects ranging from 50 to 500 MW where SGRE is responsible for the design, supply, transport, installation and commissioning of the wind project under fixed price contract terms.

This position supports Sales and Marketing with pre construction activities such as kick-off meetings, comment on customer specifications, prepare project quotes, and the contract exhibits. Post Award activities will support Project Management for the transport, construction and commissioning phases of individual projects. The successful candidate will perform construction cost estimating, scheduling and may prepare third party construction bid package and evaluations when applicable.

Specific responsibilities and tasks are noted below:
• Interpretation of drawings and specifications with an emphasis on the civil infrastructure discipline
• Review of engineering designs to ensure compliance with project contract specifications
• Support in the preparation of project construction quotations and schedules
• Work with crane contractors and installation companies
• Support of Marketing and Sales in project negotiations
• Support of Project Management in connection with the pre-construction and installation phases of WTG projects

• BS in an Engineering Discipline
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience of relevant experience
• 10% Travel required
• Proficiency in Word, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD and advanced Excel
• Knowledge of Geographical Information Systems

Professional Registration is preferred

State Contractors License is preferred
Spanish language is preferred
