Bid Manager for Downstream Waste Water Integrated Solutions - WI

We are looking for Technical and Bid Manager for Water Solutions for the Integrated Solutions Portfolio
It includes the early phase of the project with process definition and equipment sizing, and bid preparation from budget through firm bid costing through execution of all internal approval processes.
What are my responsibilities?
Support our Front Sales Engineering in process and equipment definition as well as Budget proposals
Execution of firm proposal (Technical and Commercial) responding to RFQ
Internal Documentation for internal approval of proposals
Identification of execution risks
Be in touch with Sub vendors, in close cooperation with our procurement team to develop accurate costing.
Write the technical proposal and performance guarantee
Ensure customer requirements are met or deviations are identified, informed and accepted.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
At least 10 years working experience in water and wastewater treatment equipment
Education: Bachelor or Master Degree Technical orientation
Travel Requirement: none in principle, however open to travel to customers (5 to 10%)
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or Science Degree
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
Ability to identify customer needs and develop a customized offer adding value
Communication is a key aspect of this role – verbal and written, both internal and external.
Applies advanced skills to independently resolve very complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices.
Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems
