Job Description:

IT Infrastructure Management:
Managing the outsourced US infrastructure with a group of 20+ people for Siemens Healthcare in close alignment with its German counterpart and ensuring compliance, cost effectiveness, and stability in the US. Measuring the performance of the designated service provider as well as being involved in service interruptions and being the liaison to service provider, business, and the application group. Implementing projects to improve the existing landscape or in support of the application group.

Responsibilities:
*Service Management for global contracts: Measuring and ensuring highest availability and performance of the US landscape by steering the service provider and continuously improving the support.

*Service Management for regional tasks:
Create best practice approach how to run these services in a cost and people efficient way.

Financial responsibility:
*Manage the budget and relevant financials including contracts. Challenge existing solution to improve the cost basis

Innovation:
*Drive innovation to improve performance and drive down costs where possible. Constantly challenge existing structures and solutions

*Participate in the global EA management team and help to improve the overall maturity of the organization.

*Contribute to set up a global ISM Organization and ensure global collaboration and communication with teams and partners involved, as well as contribute to global / regional ISM projects.

*Support other functional groups as requested and need e.g. requirement specification, technical consultancy, …

*Run and support infrastructure projects

*Be liaison to the US and regional sites

Required Experience/Education:
*Master degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
*Strong experience with ITIL standards
*Strong people management experience
