Job Description:


As the SCM Specialist Professional, you will play an integral part of the Travel Management team located in Orlando, FL, which supports and coordinates travel services and communications for the benefit of all Siemens companies in the United States and Canada. 

The requirements of this position include (1) providing overall support to the travel management team with the execution of business objectives, (2) assisting in the implementation of solutions and programs to ensure the achievement of service level commitments and mutually agreed upon financial goals, (3) supporting behavior modification through education and communication to Siemens employees, ensuring the effectiveness of policy, service levels, programs and products, and (4) supporting overall travel and expense program in partnership with Human Resources


  • Act as overall travel Subject Matter Expert (SME) to coordinate support for customer service programs and internal travel management processes
  • Support travel program migrations associated with Siemens’ acquisitions and divestitures
  • Coordinate supplier VIP frequent traveler programs
  • Administer special payment programs such as direct billing and/or Business Travel Accounts
  • Act as primary internal contact for travel expertise and education; coordinate and conduct training on travel programs and tools and assist in updating travel management reference and training material
  • Advise / consult with Siemens companies to improve internal travel programs

  • 4+ years business experience
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Business Travel Industry
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Education or experience in communications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
