Position Overview:


The IIOT Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the management of a unique and innovative IIoT Team within the MindSphere division at Siemens. You will leverage knowledge of software development, networking and IIoT technologies to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. Under minimal supervision, you will lead the creation of measurable and sustainable program for the Innovation team under you. You will lead client-facing consulting teams on projects. You will also have the opportunity work closely with the extended Customer Success organization- Pre-sales, sales and MindSphere consulting team and provide input to Product development from field experience.


Overall Responsibilities:


•Create a Delivery Excellence culture and structure to ensure highest quality projects
•Provide Project Management expertise. Manage & lead a local team within the Implementation group focusing on IIoT technology
•Guide Implementation group across multiple IIoT projects to design effective solutions and plan for successful implementations by reviewing our client’s business needs and assessing their requirements
•Coordinate with the MindSphere consulting team, scoping out projects and providing input for accurate quoting.
•Create templates, processes, document potential issues and provide status reports to internal stakeholders and customers.
•Remain in regular communication with customers and maintain an in-depth understanding of all project aspects.
•Provides direction and assistance to complete analysis of systems, networks, customer technology, software, and/or other related IIoT technology projects and programs.


Key responsibilities:


•Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required tasks, providing early visibility to schedules/milestones.
•Build detailed project plan and schedule for products across all processes.
•Manage day-day operational aspects of multiple projects.
•Facilitate communications across teams and management.
•Maintain product knowledge to ensure efficient delivery.
•Lead business requirements and design sessions with key stakeholders and technology team.
•Work with customers to analyze, design and develop requirements.
•Own statement of work, task orders, and manage contract changes.
•Partner with Siemens and Client executives to define client vision, strategies, and governance model.
•Collaborate with business development team to identify new business opportunities.
•Generate growth by expanding the scope of current projects.


Qualifications and Experience:


•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software, or related IT discipline
•8+ years of recent hands on IT expertise, with a successful track record of leading a team technically.
•Financial and Resource Management of large, enterprise projects.
•Business forecasting experience, including; revenue, margin, free-work, bookings, and Estimate-at-Completion.
•Escalation management of technical, resource, and strategic issues.
•Experience managing and growing, profitable, long-term, client relationships.
•Researches new and emerging technologies through industry journals, conferences, and various information sources to help determine if and how they can be used to add value to the business.
•Flexibility to Travel, including overnight travel 50% of the time.
