The Solution Consultant main role will be responsible for designing and developing solutions using the MindSphere platform, building solutions that meet customer technical requirements. When you join the team, you will establish a keen understanding of the MindSphere platform, including the overall value proposition and the technology which underpins it.
The Solution Consultant will work independently. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work with individuals from various functional groups. Many times the individual will be working on several projects simultaneously, requiring good organization skills and multi-tasking abilities. A secondary objective in executing these duties, is paramount that the individual properly document and communicate the technical content.




•Develop solutions using software development best practices.
•Gather and document application specifications from customers and internal stakeholders.
•Delivering customer facing applications utilizing latest in cloud, big data, and IoT technologies from Microsoft and other partners.
•Support all cloud development related to Siemens Mindsphere Platform.
•Provide work estimates and participate in design, implementation, and code reviews
•Work directly with stakeholders, and create high quality products that solve end-user problems.
•Operate under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent decision-making.


Qualifications and Experience:


•Minimum of 4 years practical software engineering and design work
•Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.
•Application Development Languages (e.g. Java, C/C++, Node.js)
•Cloud Development technologies, languages and frameworks (e.g. Cloud Foundry, Web Services)
•Data Management (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, ETL platforms)
•Cloud Platforms such as AWS or Azure
•Business Analytics, Analytics / Machine Learning tools such as R, SAS, Tableau, or scikit-learn.
•Experience writing applications for and communicating with CNCs and PLCs a strong plus.
•Must possess good Analytical & communication skills
•Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
