Job Description:
Siemens Healthineers is hiring a key individual for the global Mergers & Acquisitions team. This person will report to the Head of M&A Americas. It is an individual contributor role without direct reports. The preferred location for the position is Tarrytown, New York.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead M&A transaction evaluation and execution, and support integration with the acquiring/divesting business units.
  • Manage and lead cross functional, collaborative, work stream execution efforts, with both local and global business executives at all levels of seniority.
  • Produce financial and strategic assessments of acquisition and divestiture targets. Perform valuation analysis and generate financial and valuation models.
  • Lead in business plan analysis, financial and business due diligence, and project management.
  • Formulate proposals for transaction terms and be responsible for negotiating transactions. Produce work product in the form of presentations, spreadsheets, information memoranda, term sheets, etc.
  • Maintain transaction information in the company’s databases.
 
Skills and Experience Required:
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience relevant to the position.
  • Experience in broad project management, strategy projects, M&A execution, in a large, corporate or institutional setting, is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of healthcare market landscape and competitive industry dynamics is a plus.
  • Excellent transaction analysis, financial modeling and quantitative skills are required. Experience in transaction project management and due diligence is required.
  • Ability to take on several projects (at different stages) in parallel is required.
  • Must have excellent top-management verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and work well with teams, and to develop internal client relationships.
  • BA in business related field (Accounting, Finance or Economics). MBA preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
