Job Description:

Position Overview

Controller/Financial Analyst - Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) 

 

We are looking for a candidate to fill an individual contributor role; 5 - 8 years of experience with drive and initiative to provide accounting/controlling support for  SGRE for North American and Latin American operations related real estate transactions

 

Primary Duties:

 

Regional Controlling / Reporting - North America & South America Region

 

1.       Contact point for all commercial requests  in NA & LATAM region

2.       Regional consolidation of financial information (main KPIs, HQ requests, business case evaluations, etc.)

3.       Process Governance responsibility for commercial / financial Real Estate matters in North America & Latin America RegionPlanning & Reporting

 

1.       Responsibility for monthly financial planning & reporting during monthly closing process for Real Estate (incl. P&L / Balance Sheet)

2.       Analysis of financial performance on local level and identification of drivers for Plan / Actual divisions

3.       Execution of annual  budget planning process with local stakeholders

4.       Preparation of management reporting

 

 

Asset & Investment Management

 

1.       Commercial coordination and monitoring of local Real Estate investment projects and fulfillment of CAPEX reporting requirements

2.       Evaluation / Verification of investment requests in collaboration with local stakeholders

3.       Responsibility for Asset Management process (acquisition, transfer, disposal, sale)

4.       Handling of impairment checks and valuation of Real Estate assets

 

Cost Out / Synergy

 

1.       Development, evaluation and monitoring of Real Estate related cost out and synergy measures (in close collaboration with local stakeholders)

2.       Preparation of business case calculations and decision proposals for Real Estate, Business Unit & legal entity management

3.       Monitoring and maintenance of cost out and synergy measures in OPW

4.       Handling of monthly Cost Out reporting

 

Commercial Project Management

 

1.       Responsibility for all commercial/financial aspects of Real Estate projects within legal entity (e.g. investment projects, maintenance projects, relocation projects)

2.       Ensuring financial transparency for Real Estate projects (incl. financial planning and reporting process) in close collaboration with project team / project manager

3.       Preparation of decision proposals and financial evaluations with relevance for Real Estate projects

 

Process Governance

 

1.       Responsibility for all Real Estate BA related processes within area of responsibility

2.       Ensuring of compliance with FRGs for Real Estate related topics

3.       Implementation responsibility of new global Real Estate processes within area of responsibility

4.       Support of tendering process for lease, service and other agreements within the scope of Real Estate

 

 

Operational Business Administration / Accounting

 

1.       Financial tracking of purchase order requests, purchase orders and invoices related to  Real Estate Spend

2.       Monitoring of financial flow on local profit centers / cost centers (actual bookings on   line item level)

3.       Monthly preparation and booking of Real Estate cost allocation

4.       Management of Real Estate assessment cycles

5.       Documentation and booking of Real Estate related accruals

6.       Review and analysis of content of supplier and customer contracts (to ensure compliant and standardized contract management)

 

Ad hoc Requests / Special Topics

 

1.       Contact point for all commercial requests with reference to respective area of responsibility

2.       Support of local and global Real Estate management with Ad hoc analyses

3.       Involvement in cross-border collaboration / improvement projects

4.       Handling of misc. special requestsRequired Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

 5-8 years working experience in the finance or controlling field

 

Expert technical skill, SAP, MS Excel, Power Point, etc)

Strong analytical ability and team player with good coordination ability to work with cross functional departments

Good communication, presentation, and organizational skills

Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
