Job Description:

The SMB (Small/Medium Business) Portfolio Development Executive will be

responsible for planning and executing the America’s Zone Small &

Medium Business go to market strategy.

As part of the America’s zone sales organization, a Portfolio

Development Executive must drive the pipeline creation and sales of

allocated portfolio domains through close partnership with Channel

Management, Partner Sales Executives and work closely with domain

Portfolio Development Executives to support the SMB strategy.  In

addition, this role will interface with the Country and Industry sales

leadership to ensure that Siemens executes the proper GTM strategy for

SMB prospects and customers.

To achieve success, a Portfolio Development Executive will be

responsible and take on ownership of assigned SMB global campaigns and

initiatives leveraging and collaborating with cross functional teams to

maximize software opportunities. As a trusted partner with indirect and

direct sales teams, this role will be 20-30% customer facing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop business justification, go to market sales execution plan to

achieve revenue goals

• Define campaign success with each direct sales leader/channel


• Own the research to support campaign business plans

• Define business needs and develop value propositions for focused


• Develop and articulate TIPS, and create presentations

• Deliver campaign materials to support prospects and customers as


• Documented experience of owning managing discovery phase with clients

• Manage multiple campaigns per year and track metrics

• Complete understanding of campaign value proposition and presentation


• Drive campaign execution with Industry, Marketing and Sales

• Deliver/organize sales enablement training collateral as required

• Manage execution plan and report weekly progress


Minimum Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of sales or presales experience and

strong, proven grasp of technology/solutions

• Trusted as independent capable within new/existing customers at

various organizational levels

• Sales and marketing experience managing attack programs with proven


• Proven written and presentation development skills required, with

strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint and Tableau

• An understanding of organizational management is critical

• Must have the ability to multi-task

• Experience presetting to mid/upper level management and technical


• Collaborate and drive results from people across multiple


• Formal and informal networking across America’s zone, approximately

50% travel

• *BA/BS degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Small/Medium Size Business experience: sales, marketing, business


• Channel experience

• Multi solution and multi industry experience a plus

• MBA Preferred
