Job Description:

Cloud Application – Implementation Lead   

The Implementation Lead will be a key member of the Siemens Ceridian Dayforce team being assembled to enter a new era in the harmonization of work force management systems used throughout Siemens.  The initial rollout of the Dayforce tool will take place in the USA beginning in Fiscal Year 2018/19.  The Dayforce suite will enable Siemens to put office, field and manufacturing/warehouse employees on a common system with common rules and processes; all managed by a centralized Center of Competence (CoC).

You should have a high level of understanding of relational databases and application development.  You will need a broad understanding of the business segments and functions within Siemens in order to apply the best solutions to those businesses.  You will have a solid understanding of HR policies, their application and deployment.  You will be able to configure payroll and costing rules within the application software and have demonstrated a solid track record of implementing WFM.

You will report directly to the head of the CoC.

  • Lead the efforts to implement the Ceridian Dayforce workforce management (WFM) solution, primarily within the USA. 
  • Establish  working relationships with the targeted customer groups and the local installation teams
  • Define the implementation requirements (blueprint), configuring the Dayforce application to meet the blueprint requirements, oversee the testing of the established configuration and achieving acceptance from the customer
  • Execute the activities in all stages of the implementation lifecycle.  You will work both independently with customers and within your team.  While you will receive directional instruction from the CoC Head and Project Manager, you will also organize and perform most work within your assigned areas without detailed guidance.
  • Demonstrate a superior level of customer support and satisfaction and have the ability to be a role model and coach to other members of the team.
Required Experience/Skills:
  • BS/BA required,  Engineering, Computer Systems or Information Technology degree preferred
  • 8+ years experience in related field required
  • Strong working knowledge of SaaS solutions
  • Experienced in work force management software 
  • Payroll, Benefits and/or costing knowledge
  • Experience with coding, programming, IT development or IT project management
  • Knowledge of associated hardware such as time clocks and tablet kiosks
  • A working knowledge of punch management and factory/warehouse applications
Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Deployment of associated hardware such as time clocks and tablet kiosks
  • Configuration of punch management and factory/warehouse applications
  • An understanding of the operations and processes of the Siemens organization
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification
