Job Description:

The Network and Security Infrastructure Team is responsible for

architecting, delivering, securing and supporting the global

infrastructure within the following core functions:  LAN/WAN/WLAN,

Internet, Remote Access, Firewalls, Proxy, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), NAC

(Network Access Control), Business Partner Access and Cloud based

Networking implementations. 


The Network and Security Infrastructure Team is distributed across 

all global regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC) and operates a follow-the-sun 

support model providing global 24x7 advanced level support for Network and 

Security infrastructure technologies; acting as the escalation point for the 

Operations Hotline Support Centre, the Software Development Organization, 

Local Desktop Support Teams and other IT Infrastructure and Applications Support

areas.


The Sr. Network and Security Infrastructure Engineer should be able to perform the following essential activities under general direction:

• Installation, maintenance, and support of Network and Security

Infrastructure device system software and hardware

• Provide operational support for Network and Security Infrastructure

technologies within large data center

• Analytics, troubleshooting and resolution for complex Network and

Security Infrastructure issues

• Provide Network and Security Infrastructure support for all other IT

functions and end-users as required

• Complete project tasks and lead technical projects

• Administer the application of company data security policies

• Serve as a contact to vendors and otherthird party providers

• Make recommendations for improving system performance and uptime

• New Technology evaluation and implementation

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree - preferable in a computer related field or equivalent experience

• 5+ years’ experience in Network and Security technologies

• Effective English written and oral communication skills

• Experience within the following areas:  LAN/WAN/WLAN, Internet,

Remote Access, Firewalls, Proxy, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), NAC (Network

Access Control)

• Experience with Cloud technologies and providers
