Job Description:

 

Position Overview

This position will be responsible for applying scientific and statistical principles to accomplish a wide variety of technical applications for immunoassay development. Participate in research, experimentation, and analysis for product and process development of immunoassays by following written protocols. Requires experience in preparing electronically generated documents necessary to summarize semi-complex technical data.

This position involves handling potentially bio hazardous serum and plasma from human and animal sources.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

This is a professional position, and as such requires a Master’s degree in Biochemist/Chemistry or related discipline or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.

Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Broad biochemical knowledge of buffer systems, enzymes, surfactants, preservatives, proteins, and statistical analysis. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly technical information both verbally and in writing is essential.
