Job Description:

The Power Generation Services, Controls and Digitalization business is searching for a Financial Analyst who is results oriented and embraces an ownership culture.

 

As a team member, this position will be responsible for accounting and reporting activities relating to the operations of the business unit. They will develop, analyze, prepare, and present accurate and insightful reports to business partners and management. A successful candidate will collaborate across functions to drive transparency and provide value to the organization.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Supports the monthly financial closing process and performs account reconciliations
  • Supports the process for management of Accounts Receivable
  • Interprets and analyzes complex accounting records of financial statements
  • Assists in managing the internal/external audit process
  • Reviews current accounting and reporting controls and procedures and makes necessary updates where applicable
  • Supports annual budget and forecasting activities
  • Prepares monthly cost center reports and partners with business heads to ensure alignment to forecast/budget
  • Supports all accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of all record-keeping and compliance with IFRS and RIC requirements
  • Collaborates effectively with team members, BU management and local business partners
  

 Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration 
  • 2 - 4 years of diverse experience in the overall finance field
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail & accuracy
  • Must take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks with demonstrated ability to learn tasks quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve accounting issues
 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • SAP system experience
  • Experience with Accounting and Performance Controlling (cost center controlling, financial reporting, internal controls)
  • Certification or MBA a plus but not require
