Position Overview


This position (Financial Analyst 3) will be supporting the financial analyses, reporting and forecasting of financial statements and preparation of related commentaries / presentations on a monthly basis for the Diagnostics (DX) business of Siemens Healthineers. Responsibilities also include supporting the Annual Budget process across Business Lines.


The position involves a high level of interaction with the Controlling teams at 3 Business Lines of DX (LD, POC and MD), high engagement with the VP of DX BPC and DX CFO and is based in Tarrytown, NY




·         Organize and streamline MD reporting and FC process in line with overall DX expectation - support current team with overall reporting & forecast preparation and scenario analysis

·         Primary point of contact for BPC team in POC incl. monthly close and FC process, topics related to legal entity, non CRM MTA submissions etc.

·         Coordination with DX ES with regard to monthly submissions

·         Support with monthly close and forecasting process and external communication topics with focus on coordination with BLs

·         Support in DX Budget Process, responsible for all BL related topics and Budget Binder management for the 3 BLs

·         Support in special projects and ad hoc requests


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience


·         Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field  

·         Required past experience: 3-5 years’ experience

·         Required amount of travel: 5%

·         Other required knowledge, skills, or expertise:

o  Advance knowledge of MS Office Applications


Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience


·         Preferred past experience / education in Accounting or Finance

·         Other preferred knowledge, skills, or expertise: Understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet and FX
