Job Description:

Reseller and Installer Sales Team

 

Position Overview


Siemens Building Technologies has a tremendous opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative supporting the sales of HVAC Components. Working from our office located in Buffalo Grove, IL the individual is responsible for supporting current reseller and installer customers for growth of our HVAC components product lines. 

Job Market Responsibilities include:

·         Serve as sales lead for accounts spread out nationally in the Reseller and Installer channels

·         Provide technical, estimating, training, and marketing support for customer accounts

·         Attend trade shows and industry meetings

·         Proactively calling on and establish new relationships to lead customers through the buying process

·         Seek out and close out new customer opportunities

·         Travel estimated at 10% or less


Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales quota for assigned accounts

·         Supporting Order Entry and Handover process responsibilities

·         Developing internal process improvements in sales cycle

·         Managing, developing, and expanding customer relationships

·         Post sale order management / change order management

·         Technical liaison between customer and business unit

·         Prospecting, developing, and expanding new business

·       Assist Territory Managers with project proposal preparation

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

·       High School Diploma or greater

·         Ability to effectively work with a wide range of customers, both internal and external

·         Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office applications shows the discipline  

·       Must be willing and available to travel for company training, business unit meetings and territory support.  Travel < 10%.

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

·       HVAC Mechanical/Controls Industry experience

·       Inside Sales/Technical Support experience
